The Answer To Jealousy Part 10 (Levi x Reader x Crush)

I dug my two swords into it's stomach. I dragged them down, slicing through. I was greeted by hot air pressure. I kept slicing through the titan's skin, until I finally made a big enough hole. Inside was a bunch of arms, heads, and cut off legs; even some chewed up dead people.

Although right in front of me was _____. Something odd was going on. She was being engulfed into the titan. The inner part of the titan's skin were wrapping around her arms and held her still.

I was about to reach in and grab her, but the titan regenerated before I was able to do so. It stood up and I fell off.

The titan ran off leaving me behind. "Tch. I won't let you get away." I scoffed before chasing it. It ran near a group of other titan's. The bastard is smart. I stopped in my tracks.

"Dammit." I growled. I turned back taking the long path around. I turned to my left and my eyes were set on the titan across from me. It ran real fast, but wasn't fast enough.

I cut it off and sliced it's neck. I only have a few minutes before she disintegrates with titan. I quickly ripped it's back open and found _____. I tried to reach in, although I wasn't able to touch her.

She was firmly being held in the titans skin like she was being merged with the titan. Her head was hung low and I tried to call for her, although she didn't answer. I pulled my swords back and sliced a bigger hole.

I was about to drop in, but suddenly the skin regenerated again. "Tch." I clicked my tongue in disapproval, "It's no late for that."

~Crush's Pov~

We dodged all of the titan's that blocked our way towards Captain Levi. We found Levi on his knees on the titan. He was slowly ripping the skin apart with his swords. Steam surrounded the titan and hovered above him. Suddenly, Levi reached in and was pulling something out.

He was pulling ____ out. A wave of relief rolled over me, she was okay.  _____ was unconscious as Levi pulled her out. The titan's skin somehow managed to wrap around her arms, hands, legs, and some remaining on her cheeks.

Although it was disappearing as Levi was pulling her from the titan's stomach. For the first time…. I actually thought Levi looked cool like that. I looked around and the rest of the squad was smiling of how gentle Levi was with _____'s body.

Suddenly the ground started to shake and we look around. Titan's from every direction were running towards us. "Let's go!" Levi ordered from his spot. He had _____ over his shoulder when he took off. We barely escaped from the rushing titan's. I twisted my right wrist while other's just bruised their shoulders or legs.

We were getting onto our horses and going to head back to HQ. I was looking around for _____ and I found her. She was lying in Corporal's lap while he was on his horse.

______ was sitting on his lap sideways while her head rested on his left arm. Jealousy overwhelmed me, although I need to be thankful for him. He did save her. Levi had the strength and the courage. I had the strength, but not the courage. How can I compete to him?

~Levi's Pov~  

We were riding back to the HQ and we past a bunch of people. They were whispering on how we weren't able to save the wall. "Who is that girl?" One whispered. "Who knows? Maybe he cares for her?" Another one whispered. "What? Levi doesn't care for anyone." The other argued. "Then who is she?" They asked silently.

"Tch." I simply said. I looked down to ____ and she was taking small breaths. Her head was resting on my left arm, although she was leaning against my left shoulder. Stubborn girl, look where all this got you to.

We arrived at the HQ and everyone was resting. I brought ______ to the infirmary and left without another word. I entered my office and sat down at my desk. I worked on the remaining paperwork, there was nothing else better to do. Soon the sun set and I fell asleep on my desk.

For the first time I had a dream, and it wasn't a very plesant one.

In my dream all I remember was _____. She was in the uniform, although without the green coat; instead she had angel like wings. She saw my presence and she was smiling. One wing was white and the other was black, like the Survey Corps symbol; The Wings of Freedom.

Suddenly the next thing I knew her wings were broken and she had tear streaked cheeks. She looked like she was in pain. "_____." I whispered. She reached out to me with a shaking hand. "L-Levi…." She uttered out with fear and sadness.

"Save me….." Was the last thing she said. I reached out to her hand, but then with one single touch she broke into a million pieces; almost like a mirror.

When I woke up it was midnight dark. I stood up from my desk and left my office. I wondered through the cadet's halls to make sure they are asleep. A few minutes past and I stopped at the infirmary.

I stared at the door. I pushed open the door and found _____ lying in a bed. She was lying peacefully like she was in a deep dreamless sleep. I took a chair and sat by her bedside. I remembered the dream as I blankly stared a her.

I then realized it. ______ is suffering, and someday she could break, and we would all lose her forever. I can lose her now in her condition. She could die anytime she would like to, although she chooses to stay for everyone else. Even if _____ was giving smiles to everyone, she is dying inside.

Someone needs to save her.

I reached for her hand….

And took it.
